The poppet installation tool for the Atomic second stage is used to align the second-stage poppet for proper installation into the second-stage barrel.
 
Place the poppet with the flat side on the small flap with the thin rod of the poppet inside the tool.
Insert the whole assembly into the second stage air barrel making sure the lever is in the upright position, and push the poppet in until it snaps to its correct position.
