This Mares Air Control lever height tool is used for the final adjustment of the lever height in the Mares Air Control Octopus.
 
Pressurize the second stage and check the ideal demand lever height by sliding the height gauge along the casing over the lever. If the tool makes contact with the lever without triggering airflow it is ok.
When not, adjust it by tightening or loosening the demand lever locknut until the correct height is achieved.
 
The Mares Air Control lever height tool is precision machined from Acetal (Pom-C).
