This tool is used to open and close the Mares AIR control inflator plug and exhaust valve cap. The plug tool has two triangular protrusions that fit exactly into the Mares Air control exhaust valve cap and the inflation plug.
When installing, do not over-tighten the exhaust valve as this increases the risk of damaging the fragile curve at the top of the exhaust valve.
 
The Mares scuba tool is precision machined from acetal (POM-C).
