The Mares metal type regulator lever height tool can be used to adjust the lever height of the Mares metal type second stage regulators, as there are Abyss, Voltrex, Beta, Navy, and III.
 
The gauge features three clearly labeled height settings. Pressurize the second stage and check the ideal demand lever height using the appropriate side of the gauge. Slide the gauge along the casing over the lever—it should make contact without triggering airflow.
If necessary, adjust by tightening or loosening the demand lever locknut until the correct height is achieved.
